The Adventure Zone: Balance Animatic (WIP 2020)

For those who know this story well, this animatic will need no explanation. For those who don’t, the Adventure Zone: Balance followed the story of three adventurers stumbling their way through the twists and turns of monstrously powerful artifacts, mysterious creatures donning red robes, and a final battle that put the McElroys (the creators) on the mainstream media map.

A little over a year later, another cult classic closed the book on their story: Adventure Time. A Cartoon-Network children’s animated television series that followed a zany cast of characters throughout its 10 seasons.

Combining the finale song, “Time Adventure” (sung by Steven Universe’s Rebecca Sugar) I compiled an animatic of the most pivotal moments for each of the main characters of TAZ: Balance.
