Inevitable Betrayal Animatic (2021)
For an assignment in my Animation II class, we were tasked with taking an unknown audio clip and creating a storyboard out of it. The audio clip, (as I know now) is from the television series Firefly.
My aim with this storyboard was to use a style I wasn’t as adept at using, a more American-cartoon style that resembles shows like Gravity Falls (Disney) or Amphibia (Disney).
Unfortunately, despite multiple edits to try and keep the images clean and high-quality during the animatic editing process, my finished animatic truly does not do justice to how smooth and detailed my boards were for this project. I wanted to create an animatic that felt polished, mainly so my other rougher storyboards wouldn’t be the only proof of boarding I had in my portfolio.
